In depth

Verdict

GALILEO CHROME (NAP) found the ground too quick when scrambling home in a Curragh maiden then won a Leopardstown conditions' race in impressive fashion. There's more to come and he can take this on the way to the Irish St Leger. His stable companion Degraves landed a Leopardstown Group 3 in October and has raced at a similar high level this campaign. He's an obvious threat while Shoshone Warrior found 1m6f just testing his stamina at Leopardstown where he led for a long way. Red Kelly steps out of handicap company but deserves a crack at this grade and holds Emperor Of The Sun on their run in the Ulster Derby. Gold Maze ran in the Derby at Epsom and the Irish Derby at the Curragh before losing his maiden tag in convincing style at the latter trackso is no forlorn hope.
