Verdict

Bloody Mary hasn’t raced since finishing third in a Grade 2 at last year’s Cheltenham Festival but fitness is rarely an issue for one from her yard, though connections are cutting it fine to get her back to Cheltenham in a couple of weeks’ time. LONDON PRIZE still hadn’t been asked a serious question when falling at Musselburgh in his last run over hurdles. He’s run well on the all-weather since and should have more to offer in the jumping sphere. Chesterfield has shown he retains some ability in two runs this term but Melodic Rendezvous is looking a light of former days. Golden Birthday could go well with a light weight, however, and a similar comment applies to Doubly Clever. There are several in the first race who could give a clue to Remiluc’s prospects but Chris Gordon’s charge is looking a shade high in the handicap at present.
