Verdict

JACK THE TRUTH beat a subsequent winner in a higher grade at Newmarket a week ago and is taken to defy a penalty having slid down the weights in the past year. Edged Out can race off the same mark as when runner-up at Bath while Devils Roc won at the latter track in May and will appreciate this return to the minimum trip. Cookupastorm slips further down the weights still looking for a first win in a handicap while Kath's Lustre has recorded both wins to date over 6f.
