Verdict

It would be no surprise if a few of these turned up at Cheltenham next spring. CAP SOLEIL swept all before her in bumpers last season, winning Listed contests at Cheltenham and Sandown and showing a willing attitude on both occasions. She's a smart prospect if taking to hurdles and her stable is in good form so she can repel French import Countister, though Nicky Henderson's acquisition won Grade 2 bumpers at Saint-Cloud and Maisons-Lafitte last year and was also just beaten in a Grade 1. Drinks Interval was always going well when following up a Newton Abbot win at Ludlow but is stepping up a level here and carries a double penalty. Dame Rose beat Oscar Rose and Monar Rose in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree last season and made a winning start over hurdles at Hexham so shouldn't be ignored.
