In depth

Verdict

The betting suggested TSAR would improve at Newcastle in October and he duly landed the odds over today’s trip. The Kingman colt is taken to defy a penalty on his return. Lord Campari, Turaath and Showmolina may well improve for this extra distance of the others with experience while several newcomers are worth a second glance. The selection’s stablemate Wild Boy is a half-brother to a winner and King Fairy’s unraced dam is related to Group winners while the E240,000 purchase Sidereal and Burke And Wills are others to note.
