Verdict

This is the time of year when three-year-olds come into their own against the older generation and that could prove to be the case here. Mr Minerals is a tempting option after a decisive win last time whilst LA RAV was equally impressive in taking a Salisbury maiden. It's a tricky choice between the pair but the Cumani colt, just the type the handler excels with, is preferred as he'll progress for the extra furlong and his win came on Turf whereas the Hughes inmate has landed both successes on an artificial surface. Wind In My Sails ran well here the last day and is useful but will need to be at his best to handle the progressive three-year-olds. Traveller is not ruled out off bottomweight either but will need to progress.
