In depth

Verdict

In a field dominated by newcomers, Adorabella can put her brief experience to good use to see off the likes of Fiddling Again, Felinious, Folie Dancer and Tara Queen. Adorabella made a promising debut on the Lingfield Polytrack three weeks ago when a close fourth to the well fancied Turbo Linn, after which connections nominated today's contest which the stable won two years ago with Senorita Rumbelita. Well-bred on the dam's side, Alan King's filly should go close as long as she handles the ground. Nicky Henderson captured this race 12 months ago, and Fiddling Again, a daughter of former stable stalwart Fiddling The Facts, is sure to have her supporters, while Felinious hails from the same family as Teeton Mill and Celtic Ryde so could turn out to be useful. Folie Dancer's stable is in good form, and Tara Queen's trainer has already shown that he has the knack of sending out winners. In what could turn out to be a decent affair with an eye to the future, we return to Adorabella as the answer.
