Spark Plug won this last year off a 2lb lower mark though he did have a run under his belt on that occasion. ARTHENUS rattled-up a hat-trick last year and had a pipe-opener at Newmarket recently when behind stablemate Knight Owl. He should be sharper for this and can reverse running with fourth-placed Strong Steps off his current mark. Gabrial's Kaka beat Azraff at Chelmsford last month but the latter re-opposes on better terms while Nottingham winner Sinfonietta went close to defying a 13lb rise in the weights when second at Goodwood a fortnight ago but has been raised a further 2lb for his trouble. Mustaaqeem never figured on his reappearance but has plenty of scope and is preferred to Commodore and Hail Clodius.
