Verdict

With his yard in excellent form, Golden Wedding has to be respected despite a rare moderate effort at Kempton while Directorship, who went up 5lb for finishing second at Ascot, made a bold bid to go one better at Leicester and can race from the same mark. Wind In My Sails completed a double on fast ground last summer and if the going firms up would have to be considered but the vote goes to CAPTON. Henry Candy's charge has only had four runs, all over further, and made a gallant attempt to lead all over 1m2f at Windsor when only caught in the dying strides. Buckland Beau has done all of his winning so far on the All-weather.
