    Verdict

Katimont can surprise Kotsi and Clowance. The Barry Hills filly won well at Lingfield Park recently and while she does not hold any entries at present, the fact that she holds an engagement in the Ribblesdale indicates that she is held in some regard at home. Kotsi has the best official figure of those to have been rated by the assessor. Her second in the May Hill Stakes is much the best form on offer. Clowance is yet to experience a surface of this nature. That said, she was winning a race when few in her stable were. Ada River hails from a yard in form and the Kempton winner is respected if the money arrives. Hobby would be a threat if training on and on what we have seen so far, the ground won't be a problem. Shaker and Longoria have it to do. Katimont is the call.
