    Verdict

The Tin Man is taking a big drop in class but has something to prove after being readily outpaced in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes. Front runner Ibn Malik ran well in the Jersey Stakes but is likely to be taken on for the lead by Watchable and both Divine and Aeolus have questions to answer after disappointing runs last time. Mr Lupton is progressive, but yet to prove he’s up to this level so preference is for Group 1 winner CHARMING THOUGHT. He wasn’t given a hard time on his return from a two year absence at Salisbury last month, but his performance suggested he retains plenty of ability. Illuminate seems to be returning to form and can make the frame.
