Verdict

Blue Atlantic won at Market Rasen on his hurdling debut and wasn't beaten far under a penalty at the same track earlier this month. His stable is going well and he makes more appeal than Trendsetter, who shaped like a stayer when third at Wetherby. Magic Magnolia has had plenty of chances and has become hard to predict. JALINGO won a couple of times on the Flat for Mark Johnston and is sure to have been well schooled. McCoy takes the reins and John Ferguson's recent acquisition can make a winning start under NH Rules. Zarib, who won over a mile on the Flat as a two-year-old for Mick Halford, could be best of the rest.
