In depth

Verdict

Culzean has conditions in his favour today and seems on a fair mark. Although he is not the most straightforward of characters, the Hannon stable is firing on all cylinders and he should run well at a decent price. Jabaar is potentially well treated for his handicap debut and the form of his maiden win is working out well, so it would be no surprise to see him run a big race and Ed Dunlop's charge is a realistic alternative. The booking of Kieren Fallon should ensure that there is plenty of support for Charlie Simmons, but he looks to face a stiff task on what he has achieved so far. Kilkenny Castle, whose turf form is solid and won last time on the all-weather, is a bigger threat, along with Flight Sequence, who has plenty of scope and goes well fresh.
