    Verdict

BEST TERMS lost her unbeaten record in the Cheveley Park where she started a short-priced favourite but never really got going. She had previously won the Queen Mary and Lowther Stakes and is the obvious form pick on those runs. Roger Sez progressed from nurseries to landing a Group 3 at Ayr on soft ground and she'll be suited by the conditions better than most though probably not more than Moonstone Magic, who ploughed through soft ground for a facile winning debut at Leicester last week, or Brick Tops, who made a winning start on soft ground at Doncaster. The remainder all have progress to make but are quite capable of doing so at this stage of the season.
