Verdict

Richard Hannon's colt Zavone gets the vote here over Twinned and Figaro Flyer, although any signs of strong market support for the newcomers could well prove to be significant in a tricky maiden for punters to call. The selection caught the eye on his debut when a good third behind Montzando. He is sure to come on for the experience and he looks the one to beat. The only negative would be that the horse that finished second in front of our selection on his debut Brandywell Boy has since come out and been a little disappointing. Figaro Flyer hails from the Mick Channon yard and he ran very green on his debut but he is sure to come on for that run and he could be the one to profit if our selection fails to fire. Twinned has shown a modicum of ability on his two starts to date but he is probably going to be better over 6f and we will pass him over for that reason. Nivelle and Ribh are interesting newcomers from top yards worth noting in the market, but we will stick with Zavone who looks the one they have to beat.
