Verdict

Take Cover won this last year when Judicial and Hit The Bid were well beaten but the latter reversed the form in the Flying Five at the Curragh last weekend and will be much better suited by the conditions, as will Sioux Nation, who finished just in front in that latter contest. MR LUPTON was behind Take Cover in the Beverley Bullet but he's been racing on ground much too quick all summer and this going can see him in a better light. He had El Astronaute behind in a Listed race at York in July and should again take care of John Quinn's charge. Equilateral made a successful debut on good to soft at Bath last August but has been running exclusively on good to firm ground this year, landing minor races at Doncaster and Leicester. He's taking on much better company though has more scope than most of these.
