Verdict

Ramora stayed on well into third behind Crimson Ribbon on her debut at Newmarket last month and Henry Cecil's filly has to be strongly considered following that performance but she faces no easy task against LADY ARTEMISA, who gets the vote with Heritage Coast rated the pick of the remainder. The selection improved for her debut outing at Windsor with good seconds at Salisbury and Newcastle in her two starts since then and Michael Bell's daughter of Montjeu looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to provide her handler with another winner. Roger Charlton's Sally Forth, a daughter of Dubai Destination, is well bred and has to be considered on her debut but she faces no easy task. Brian Meehan's Park Melody was well held first time out and looks best watched, while Paul Cole's Strategic Princess needs to improve dramatically on her debut outing to trouble the judge. Hugh Morrison's Heritage Coast has shown a consistent level of form and on official BHA ratings has 1lb in hand over the selection but she is proving to be expensive to follow and may again have to settle for minor honours behind Lady Artemisia.
