      Verdict

There are some interesting newcomers here including Brian Meehan's Tomba colt Oxbridge and Mick Channon's Tobago Bay but preference is for the once-raced stablemate of the last mentioned We're Delighted. The selection showed plenty of promise when a close up third behind Tajdeef in a course and distance maiden earlier this month and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice. Richard Hannon's Hit The Roof showed some promise on his debut and should improve for the run, while Brendan Powell's Morestead ran creditably in a better contest than this at Ascot first time up and has to be considered. A market move for the Terry Mills-trained Summer Winds would be of interest but, on all known form, We're Delighted looks the percentage call and he gets the vote.
