Verdict

Edward Greatrex was on Dark Amber when Brendan Powell's mare skated up at Bath 12 days ago. He also rode My Anchor when that one won at Wolverhampton at the start of the month but teams up in this with HALLINGHAM. The top weight can be a bit inconsistent but has the ability to win a race like this off a mark of 67 judged on his latest second over 1m2f here. Jonny Portman also runs Russian Remarque, who's been knocking on the door, and he's preferred to Grey Gem, who took a backward step last time at Salisbury.
