    Verdict

A good field assembled for the St Simon and ASK can make the drop in class a winning one, while Spanish Moon and Blue Monday are short list material. The selection was last seen staying on well to finish within four lengths of the great Zarkava in the Arc, and this good to soft ground should be perfect for him. He has won twice in this grade already in 2008, and he should be able to outclass them. Spanish Moon was short headed by Blue Monday when the pair met in the Arc Trial here last month, and with a 3lb pull here he may well be capable of reversing those placings. Both look sure to be thereabouts. Buccellati steps up from a Listed Newmarket win over this trip last time and he might just come up short and Sell Out, who acts with cut, looks a better proposition. A really good competitive contest where Ask looks the one to be on.
