Verdict

The lightly raced and unexposed Super Kenny looks the pick of Nicky Henderson's two runners ahead of Monetary Fund who has run well in his last two starts over timber, the latest of which was at Hereford in June, but both are expected to have to play a minor role behind GIFTED LEADER. Ian Williams has his string in good heart at present and this son of Diesis comes here on the back of a decent second behind Rio Gael at Haydock at the beginning of the month; he can go one better today. Alan King's Top Mark is fit from the flat but needs to improve on what he showed when last seen over hurdles and of more interest may be the Paul Nicholls-trained Pennellis but he is 14lb higher than when scoring at Taunton recently.
