In depth

Verdict

ROBINSON COLLONGES has some useful looking form in his native France and he is taken to land this an open looking Novice Hurdle over two miles on his first start for new connections at the expense of winning hurdles debutant Master Of The Hall while My Shamwari remains of interest after a couple of decent starts. The pick experienced defeat just once in four starts across The Channel and that was in a valuable contest over timber when finding just the one too good. In theory this is easier and he should run a big race on his first start for Paul Nicholls. Master Of The Hall was solid on debut in a bumper before making an impressive winning start over timber last time out in a similar contest so another bold bid is expected with likely further progression. My Shamwari found just the one too good on his only bumper start before taking a maiden contest next time up so can be expected to go close again while Nice One Eric is one of the most experienced here but will probably need to improve to break his maiden. It's a difficult start to the card but Robinson Collonges looks good based on his French form.
