In depth

Verdict

Wenyerreadyfreddie has won a couple of times at Ascot and his latest victory there has been franked. Walt finally got off the mark at Taunton but was flattered by his margin of victory and, like the Tizzard pair Golden Sunrise and Mount Rushmoore, will carry more than his allotted weight. Onefitzall, Wilde Blue Yonder, De Rasher Counter and Head To The Stars all have something to prove at present but POLYDORA has always looked a chasing type and jumped from fence to fence when scoring at Newcastle at the start of the month. He was put up 11lb for that and would have been served better by more rain but still looks the one to beat.
