Sendreni needs respect for a shrewd outfit but CARNIVORE is the one they have to beat and he is nominated ahead of Stellite. David Barron's gelding is a course and distance winner but he was very disappointing on his last start at Kempton where he was almost pulled up. We are inclined to give him another chance however and if the market vibes are positive then that would add more confidence with this ground not a problem. Sendreni was a recent winner at Folkestone in handicap company and he needs respect but connections presumably feel that his rating of 73 is high enough hence the drop in class. Lethal is a reliable old stick who normally gives his running and he has a chance at these weights, as does Stellite who is a course and distance winner and Jim Goldie has his horses in fair form. Morocchius could be of interest back from a break but for the winner we will stick with Carnivore.
