Verdict

This is tougher than the contest Weather Front won here in March and he’s been beaten off today’s mark subsequently. Huddersfilly Town also won a lower grade race at Chelmsford at the end of last year while Archipeligo landed an amateurs' race here last summer. Fisher Green missed the whole of last year but returned to action off a lower mark and went close at Nottingham last week though another chance goes to RUBENSIAN with a tongue-tie applied for the first time after struggling over a longer trip at Newbury. David Simcock’s charge was beaten less than a length on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton earlier and gets the nod on that form.
