Irish raider Compton's Finale was sent to Ayr last summer and landed a handicap over this trip. His trainer places his horses well and he's an interesting entry. Global Humor has won here though over 6f which appears to be his trip but Longroom was making his debut for Paul Midgley when scoring over the track and trip in March and is only 4lb higher. Runner-up Marietta Robusti is entitled to get much closer though the vote goes to QUANAH, who ended last season completing a double on testing ground but showed that this surface holds no terrors with a close third here on Monday.
