In depth

Verdict

Soul Angel won well at Musselburgh on his reappearance but has struggled to last home over this longer trip in the past and is now on a career-high mark. Sammy Spiderman is out of form while Playing The Field remains a maiden under Rules. Double Default still looks too high in the weights while Bear Dancing and C&D winner Blazing Diva have a bit to prove at present. It's a couple of years since Seeking Power last got his head in front but he was a fair third at Hexham last time and could go close, though preference is for TEERIE EXPRESS. George Bewley's stayer goes well fresh and won off this mark over a shorter trip here on his reappearance last season.
