        Verdict

        Corked arrives in the best form having followed placed efforts at Beverley with a course and distance success, though is 5lb higher today. NINGALOO is less exposed having posted better efforts in handicaps recently, including a close-up fifth at Hamilton, so a chance is taken on Rebecca Bastiman’s charge. Troop has been thereabouts over a mile lately and stays this far while Graceful Act has been running well in amateur races and is preferred to Sir Gnet.
