In depth

Verdict

A couple of these made winning debuts including Fingal's Hill, who scored at Catterick back in November. But HACKBERRY returned the winning favourite over course and distance last month and makes more appeal with Brian Hughes keeping the partnership intact. Grand Du Nord and Areyouwithus look likely improvers but Creggan White Hare has failed to match a debut second at Sedgefield in a couple of subsequent starts. All Shook Up and the newcomer Tartan Cookie are others to note.
