In depth

Verdict

Lucksin can land this maiden at the expense of Monashee Brave and Opera Writer. The selection improved over the winter break to finish an eye catching second of nine behind Rondo at Thirsk over six furlongs. This slightly shorter trip looks as though it will suit and if in the same heart he will take some beating. Monashee Brave was not beaten far at all on his seasonal debut when third at Thirsk and is one to note in the market as is Opera Writer who showed some form last year as a two year old and the stable are doing well at present. But for the winner we return to Lucksin.
