In depth

Verdict

Fruit Salad scored over 5f here recently but was behind fourth-placed Tilly Trotter before that. Veena landed a double on the all-weather early in the year but hasn’t raced since May and maiden winner Cashla Bay has been off the track since June. Penny Pot Lane and Economic Crisis have been winning in soft ground on the Turf this year but NUNS WALK finished runner-up to the progressive Lady Of The Lamp over track and trip last week and it could be her turn again today.
