In depth

Verdict

This looks the weaker division of the pair and we like Breakwater House against Diamond Frontier and Cast Iron Casey. Breakwater House was a little disappointing on seasonal reappearance but he showed a liking for this track when obliging on debut. The fact that he returns so quickly after a modest run suggests that the trainer thinks that it was all an off day at the office. Diamond Frontier won over 1m6f on the level for Charles O'Brien. A drop in trip isn't obvious but Denis O Regan has selected him ahead of Cast Iron Casey. Realism has some pieces of flat form that entitle him to consideration and seems capable of demonstrating his form on any surface. Thunderwing was disappointing on his latest start and will need to find something in order to be competitive here. Presque Perde was moderate on the flat but drying conditions would suit and any move for Keith Reveley's charge is noted. Not a race that will live long in the memory and we are with Breakwater House.
