      Verdict

      None of these have encountered soft ground before but a chance is taken that QUICK BITE handles the surface. Her second on the Polytrack to subsequent Albany Stakes third Illaunglass is the best form on offer and she can take this if running anywhere near that level. There was cut in the ground when Bollin Tommy and Endangered Species made their debuts but both were well beaten and Pitti Sing has yet to figure in a couple of starts on a fast surface. The betting may give the best clue to newcomer Great Nicanor's chances.
