Verdict

Only 10lbs between top to tail in this murky handicap and the pin falls on recent winner THURSDAY'S KNIGHT; Boysterous and Chapel Flowers join Glen Rouge on the shortlist. Jim Best tried the blinkers on the selection last time and it paid instant dividends as he trounced his rivals at Plumpton by 20 lengths. Eased down near the line, he should run well, assuming he turns up after an engagement on Thursday afternoon. Something Gold could play a hand but his jumping is too slap-dash, so a bigger danger could be Nicky Richards' pair. With the stable in form it would be unwise to rule out either Chapel Flowers or Glen Rouge, with the former looking the pick on form and jockey bookings. Kinfayre Boy got off the mark on his first start this season but that was only in a lowly seller, whilst Boysterous has a 7lb penalty for his selling win at Hexham. Poor stuff in truth, but Thursday's Knight can win.
