BUNCLODY's only poor run came when sent over 2m4f at Wetherby but he bounced back with a very good effort over this C&D where he was staying on at the finish behind Storm Brig, form that should be good enough for this. Winning bumper Lucky Sunny found 2m5f stretching his stamina at Leicester last time but has no problems with the heavy ground and looks a big threat to all. Irish raider Maddoxtown has shown good form in bumpers but makes his hurdling debut in very testing conditions against experienced opposition. Diamond D'Amour is probably capable of improvement as he attracted support on his hurdling bow at Kelso but was struggling after a mistake at the fifth and quickly pulled up.
