Verdict

COURT AT SLIP missed out on a hat-trick when upped in class at Carlisle but his earlier double included a course and distance success and Tim Easterby sent out last year’s winner of this. The odds-on favourite unseated when East Street scored at Wetherby but the latter can race off a similar mark while a blunder at the last may have cost Glittering Love the race at Hexham when Camp Belan fell. The latter has subsequently gone close back at the same track while Here Comes The Man makes his chasing debut after placing over timber at Ayr.
