In depth

Verdict

Strike Red is a dual winner at this level around here and has been racing at a higher grade all summer. Badri scored at Southwell in the summer and was 7lb higher when gaining a convincing victory here three weeks ago for which he's up another 8lb. LIR SPECIALE landed a Doncaster maiden in April and was returning from a break after undergoing wind surgery when justifying strong support at Windsor. There's more to come and he can complete a double though there are numerous dangers including Tommy de Vito, a winner on the surface who bounced back to form at Windsor.
