      Verdict

      John Gosden boasts an impressive strike rate with the few two-year-old runners he sends to this track and BEYOND SMART can add to his tally. The latter should have improved after a promising debut fourth at Haydock and is preferred to Blazers Rock, a disappointment when dropped back to 7f at Beverley last time. Ryeolliean looks best of the remainder with experience but a bigger threat could come from the Godolphin newcomers. Billingsate is related to a winner but early Derby entry Classic Devotion cost 1,200,000 US dollars and wears his owner's first colours.
