        Verdict

        AIRTON was runner-up over track and trip and a similar effort should see him thereabouts again. He can confirm running with Tectonic, who has yet to win on the all-weather, but Kicking The Can won a maiden race over 1m2f here last month. Merriment won over 2m here on her penultimate outing while High On Light has been placed in all four subsequent starts since landing a double during the summer. Percy Verence was not beaten far when fourth here behind Go George Go, who was due to run in the previous race.
