In depth

Verdict

Commander Han had every chance here yesterday and will carry a penalty if successful. He was second to Big Les here in November but the latter has been well beaten recently and HEATH CHARNOCK is preferred on an last month’s close-up fourth in better company here. Doc Sportello looks high enough in the weights now as does the returning Venturous while Alsvinder has to race off a much higher mark on the all-weather on his reappearance.
