In depth

Verdict

Though he’s never won, Fabuleux Du Clos has yet to run a bad race over hurdles. Milton Harris’ stable is struggling for winners at present but he’s sent a couple up from Wiltshire today and GAVROCHE D’ALLIER, who has shown some promise and has the cheekpieces back on, isn’t going to get many better chances to shed his maiden tag. Hattons Gardens is steadily improving and will benefit from Partick Wadge’s claim while Burrows Hall was third off this mark at Wetherby on his handicap debut. Eloi Du Puy, also placed on his first run in a handicap, adds to the interest.
