      Verdict

Sherzam was placed on more than one occasion in Ireland and sets the standard as she makes her debut for Michael Dods. However, the less exposed YARN is just preferred as she was only beaten a length on her debut at Hamilton and won't need to improve much on that to get off the mark. Smart Eighteen finished closer at Doncaster last time and Fleurtille has claims on last year's debut third at Catterick but the remainder have yet to show any worthwhile form. Perci French is a half-brother to the useful Libranno and looks best of the newcomers.
