In depth

Verdict

The better horses are drawn high so, with that in mind, another chance is taken with Highland Warrior, who edges a narrow verdict over Fantasy Believer, who is obviously respected but has fair bit to do at the weights. Pinchbeck and Yamolo are others that come into the argument on the pick of their form and are worth watching in the betting. Whereas Glencoe Solas is a game filly that has shown no signs of losing her enthusiasm after being kept busy of late. She too has to be respected and could go well at a track that should suit. A word also has to be passed on about Gone 'N' Dunnett as he has hit form again at the right time for this. He is a prime candidate to tow them along and should not be too far away at the finish. However, as our selection has a tendency to miss the kick wherever he races, his position four off the stands rail will make very little difference to his chance today. Highland Warrior loves to weave his way through as things unfold and, although he is frustrating to follow, he has the ability to see off this lot if he does not leave himself with too much to do. Fantasy Believer goes well here and is the obvious alternative for those not willing to give the selection another chance to come good.
