Verdict
Man Of Action looked very progressive last season but is tried in blinkers after a poor reappearance at Chester. Dubai Dynamo was beaten five lengths by XILERATOR over the C&D last month but things didn't go his way and he should get much closer to the winner this time. However, Dandy Nicholls' charge was having only the sixth run of his career and though hit with a 9lb rise looks the type to go on to better things like his half-brothers Tax Free and Inxile. Vito Volterra was 10lb higher than when successful over the C&D last month before scoring here again on Thursday but his penalty might just prove too much to handle. The veteran Webbow can never be ruled out and ran another fine race when just touched off by Smarty Socks at Doncaster when Bawaardi, who goes best under Paul Hanagan as he showed on his previous start over the C&D, was a beaten favourite.
