In depth

Verdict

Blaine has joined Dandy Nicholls this year and duly bounced back to something like his best when scoring easily at Epsom. But he’s been raised 12lb for that while Captain Colby won at Newmarket on his only start of 2015 and debuts for Ed Walker having been off the track for over a year. SIR ROBERT CHEVAL is yet another enjoying new surroundings and went close at Newmarket on his reappearance and first start for Robert Cowell. He should go close again while Boomerang Bob is usually thereabouts in all-weather sprints and finished ahead of Magnus Maximus when second at Chelmsford recently. The enigmatic See The Sun threw in one of his poor efforts last time having beaten Mythmaker at York before that while George Bowen has not been at his best so far this year but Ruwaiyan is back on a winning mark.
