In depth

Verdict

MISS RANGER is mostly consistent and has gone close on Turf the last twice. She may prove good enough in this having won at Chelmsford in October. Rockwood has claims given his winning form on the Tapeta surface at Wolverhampton while Briardale makes his all-weather debut having tumbled down the weights since making a winning start at Beverley last year. Paddy's Rock ended last season prematurely having rattled up a string of seconds during the summer and Lean On Pete is another with a shout based on his form at Wolverhampton.
