Verdict

Disappointingly just the six runners line up for this novice stakes race in which it is hard to get away from Dubai's Gazal, who showed improved form from her debut outing when successful at Bath on good ground last time, the softer ground today should cause no problems and he gets the vote to follow up ahead of Full of Nature and Raise All In. The last mentioned is a well bred newcomer from the in-form Richard Hannon stable and does receive weight all round so has to be respected but lack of experience is of concern. Alan Swinbank's Uramazin was good value for his win on fast ground at Nottingham last time but should, on pedigree, handle the cut in the ground today. He like Saxford has to give weight away to the rest of the field though and may struggle to do so. Teneo Vestri would need to improve on his debut outing to trouble the judge and of more interest may be Full of Nature, who made a winning debut in a Newmarket maiden before running creditably in a Listed race at Epsom on Derby day. He has to be respected but preference is for Mick Channon's Dubai's Gazal, who looks to be going the right way.
