Alquimia was out of her depth in a Class 3 handicap over a longer trip at York last time and has stronger claims in this. But MR MCLAREN has more scope and the recent Hamilton winner could be the one to beat if handling the quicker ground. Centre Haafhd and Top Of The Glas have been disappointing this year but Secret Suspect won over the distance at Wolverhampton in January and subsequent efforts have been respectable enough.
