In depth

Verdict

The bookmakers are unlikely to be taking any chances when pricing up recent Ripon winner, Bondesire, and David O'Meara's charge should be more than capable of coping with tonight's shorter trip. With Tom Dascombe having runners elsewhere, it looks significant that Richard Kingscote is here so TRINITYELITEDOTCOM is worthy of interest at the likely odds. Although still a maiden, he was highly tried as a juvenile and may have needed his reappearance at Leicester after a year on the sidelines. Salvatore Fury faces his toughest task to date so it remains to be seen as to whether the handicapper has won his battle with the in-form sprinter. Lucies Diamond won on debut before taking two long absences and is one to note in the market, while Mandy Layla won a seller for Bryan Smart last year and continues to ply her trade at Hambleton handler under different ownership.
