Verdict

Several horses come here in good form but we will take a chance on a potential improver in TREEKO who is nominated ahead of Viscount Rossini, Karmadice and Farne Island. The selection has had three runs in maiden company and has shown that he has some ability. His runs behind Higgy's Boy and Sir Tantallus Hawk would suggest that he may prove to be better than this opening mark of 105 and rated in the 70's on the flat in Ireland he can make his class tell today. Sendali has some fair pieces of form, including behind top-weight Karmadice last time at Sedgefield. The winner was impressive and seems to be revelling in the quicker ground at the moment. Bob's Dream was second in that race, with Follow On sixth. Viscount Rossini is game and consistent and unlikely to be far away despite a 6lb rise for his recent course and distance success, whilst Realism is tumbling down the weights and along with Pontop whose fifth to Caravel reads well is not to be ignored. A tricky contest to round off the card but it is Treeko who is nominated.
